As many of you all have probably noticed, this club has, you could say, gone to pot. I just logged in for probably the first time in months. Needless to say, there is quite a load of messages, notes, comments, and etc. to be replied to. And unfortunately neither I nor our other administrator, ~serendipity04 have the time to clean it up. Basically, it's time to decide whether this club makes like Jim and gets killed and shoved out the window, or a new administration steps up and take the reins, pardon the metaphors. If there is anyone (preferably more than one person) with the time, energy, and drive to take over Scissorhands club, we'd be happy to hand it over to you! This is a great club, friends. Let's not let it die!

Sorry about the lack of response from this club, the administrators have been very busy with their own lives and there hasn't been much done around here. I'll try to get things caught up and running as soon as I can. Sorry about the delays, this should be fixed soon enough.

As this is a group dedicated to Edward Scissorhands, I was contemplating posting various websites and extras relating to the film. If you think this is a good idea, let me know. We like hearing about your opinions!

Edward Scissorhands is one of the first films I can remember watching, since then it has been my favourite. As a result, I decided to create this group as a place for others who share a passion for this film to come and share their artwork. I am aware there are other groups somewhat similar to this around, but you can never have too many groups. So to anyone who is interested, you're most welcome to come and join.

How to Join:

If you would like to become a member of Scissorhands- please send me a note and I'll get back to you a.s.a.p. Once you have joined, it would be helpful if you could put a watch on the group. This is the easiest way to keep up to date with any news and events that are occuring. ^^

If you do decide to become a member, I would greatly appreciate it if you would link Scissorhands- in your journal or sig so to spread the word of the group.

How to Submit a Piece:

I accept all types of art form relating to Edward Scissorhands.

When you have finished your piece, simply send me a note with a link to your piece and permission for me to upload it into the Or you can attatch it to an and send to: xTheAvonLadyx@hotmail.com. Make sure in the email (or note) you include a description of the piece, what catagories to put it in, your username on DevART and finally, a title.

I will then submit it to devART.

To all those who comment: On each piece in the decription box, you will find a link to the original piece and/or an icon of the artist. Please credit them as well as leaving a comment. After all, they created the piece and rightfully deserve the praise. And please, if you've got nothing nice to say (unless it's constructive), don't say it at all.
